Chicken Satay with Coconut Dumplings and Stir-fried Peas

I once read that it's important for every picture to have a least one red thing in it. Go and look if you want - every cookery book I own (or, more truthfully, which I've stolen from my mother) is full of pictures with a subtly placed tomato, or red-patterned napkin, or pan.

You might notice that most of my pictures feature some red plates and conclude that this is so that all pictures of my food actually have red in them without me trying. It's actually because they were on sale and I was fed up of my housemates stealing my normal plates and not washing them up. But it does the job!

So here they are, in my first recipe:

Chicken Satay with Coconut Dumplings and Stir-fried Peas

The satay was mainly based on a recipe from Nigella Online, and the coconut dumplings a variation on those in Jamie's 15 Minute Meals, which I've made SO many times already, they're FANTASTIC. I used bread flour this time instead of plain, and they were wonderfully gooey, especially when dipped in the satay sauce.
